Polarization Stabilizer
The POS-203 Polarization Stabilizer maintains a stable output
state of polarization (SOP) against any fluctuations in the feedback signal.
The instrument uses an algorithm to either minimize or maximize the supplied
feedback signal by dynamically altering the SOP.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The POS-203 architecture includes a fiber squeezer
polarization controller and proprietary algorithms. It is able compensate for
an input polarization discontinuity in as fast as 5 ms, or track without resets
against a continuous input SOP rotation of up to 32π/s.
The POS-203 is a versatile instrument that automatically
optimizes the output SOP to either maximize or minimize an optical or
electrical feedback signal. It also allows the user to optimize the control
cycle for particular applications by adjusting the step size, feedback delay,
activation threshold, and search algorithm (maximum or minimum).
PRODUCT SOLUTIONS
The POS-203 can be used to find and
maintain any target polarization state as long as an optical or electrical
feedback signal can be generated such that the target polarization state
corresponds to the maximum or minimum value of the feedback signal.
